Need a vacation?
The majority of online broadcasters don’t take vacations. We’re taking three days to appreciate ourselves, to reward our hard-work, and finally take time to unwind. Welcome to work/life balance assistance.
We’ve taken every precaution to keep the date clear of major broadcaster events. We’ve also tried to keep the cost very reasonable. We’ve also rejected working with sponsors to keep everyone from being harassed. We hope you enjoy what we have to offer.
Why are we doing this?
It seemed like every time a large group of broadcasters got together, the topic always returned to…
“I WISH we could spend more time together. There’s just so much happening here at this convention. We should just take a vacation together. Maybe a cruise?”
But setting up a group vacation is a lot of work and no one had taken the effort to organize a large-scale community vacation before. Until now. It finally happened.
What we're doing
We would like to invite you to take a 3-day trip to the Bahamas leaving from Miami, Florida on December 7th, 2018. We will be traveling in style on the Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas (which is three times larger than 2017’s ship) and visiting CocoCay (RC’s exclusive private island) and Nassau, Bahamas.
Who are the Organizers?
Our organizers and staff are seasoned event organizers from the community. We are not sponsored or directed by any corporate presence, allowing us to organize this without interference and will give the ultimate chill vacation time.
For 2018, the primary group coordinator will be Moblord. To contact, please use: firstname.lastname@example.org
Rooms full of broadcasters
Additional events, such as swimming with dolphins, can be purchased from menus placed in your rooms each day or on the islands themselves.
Cruise Terminal Opens
Guests will be let into the terminal around this time so that boarding can begin immediately at 11:00 AM
Get on board early to be among the first to start the party, or take that nap you’re probably waiting for. YOU’RE OFFICIALLY ON VACATION!
Boarding ends at 3:00 PM so the boat can leave at 4pm. Be on the cruise liner so you’re not left behind! No seriously, we’re not turning this ship around. Your plane needs to have landed before noon to make this work.
Cococay, Bahamas Shore Excursions
Royal Caribbean’s private island is a Bahamian paradise. CocoCay features all kinds of activities, snorkeling, kayaking, boating, jet-ski rentals, an aqua park, nature walks, beaches and plenty of spots to relax and recharge.
Nassau, Bahamas Shore Excursions
With dazzling beaches, turquoise waters, colorful past and vibrant Junkanoo culture, Nassau is a great place to sun and sight see. The city is on New Providence Island; just offshore is Paradise Island, home to luxury hotels and resorts.
Here is some of what you can expect to see on the trip!
No sponsors allowed
Seriously, if anyone calls you an “influencer”, please submit them to be publicly flogged on the poop deck.
This is a vacation organized by the community for the community. Not a work trip. Chill time, good vibes, no distractions, lots of friends.
